Last Saturday, Bay Area buzz band Birdmonster (alliteration anyone?) made their way to the Windy City for a gig with blog-friendly, newly-signed-to-Polyvinyl Records outfit Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin, and home town heroes Catfish Haven. Yesterday, I wrote a long-winded review as to why Birdmonster rules. It was mostly based around the insane amount of positive energy these guys exude while onstage and of course, their songs. Then… my hard drive crashed… hard. So… as I will be spending all day at the Apple store with my fingers crossed hoping that some of my data will be recovered, and since I took some SICK photos of the band and I don’t want them to go to waste, I’m just going to post these as a photo gallery. Luckily I put them up on Flickr over the weekend. Enjoy (and wish me luck).
