Brett Anderson’s Solo Album Completed

It has been well over a year since the former Suede singer Brett Anderson has announced that he would be releasing a solo album. NME has been snooping around the forum on his official website, where he posted that the mixing and mastering of the album is now done. Although no release date has been confirmed as of yet, it should come out at some point in early ‘07 on Drowned In Sound in the UK and on a major label (which is still to be named) in the rest of the world.

He also discussed the album’s cover art, which is being worked on by Anderson along with Wolfgang Tillmans and Peter Saville. This should make for a pretty sweet cover, as Seville is known for designing artwork for Joy Division and New Order, as well as for the ‘96 Suede album Coming Up.
