Last month one of our favorite bands from the UK, Maximo Park, posted some video footage from the studio where they are working on their sophomore album. To continue giving us an inside look at the progress of LP number two, the band updated their MaximoBlog with some new images and a brief blurb.
In the posting, keyboardist Lukas said: “Here are some pictures from our final stage of recording. It is getting pretty hectic as we try to put the final guitar, vocal and keyboard parts down before we head out on tour next week, but very thing is sounding very special. Today saw the recording of some Oriental sounding string parts which have got us very excited. We are also starting to talk (hotly) about tracklistings and tomorrow morning we will have the second meeting to discuss artwork for the finished LP.”
