The Fall Release Two Books And CD In 2007

If you were a fan of John Peel, or music in general, then you probably are familiar with The Fall. Not only were they Peel’s favorite band, but the legendary band came back in a big way earlier this year when they hit the road for the first time in ages, and in true rock and roll fashion the rumors of fights and hysteria broke out at some of the dates.

With all the excitement that surrounded them this year, the band has decided to release a brand new album, Reformation, set to come out early 2007, as well as two books; the autobiographical Renegade: The Gospel According To Mark E. Smith on April 26 and Perverted By language: Fiction Inspired By The Fall, a collection of short stories based on The Fall’s songs, on June 28.

Like they say, it’s best to strike when the iron is hot.
