When I first got word that Rob Dickinson was filming a video for his song “Oceans” using only a camera phone, well, I was honestly less than thrilled. The press releases made sure to point out that it was filmed entirely by using a Nokia N93, so what we could have had was a four minute commercial for the phone. Thankfully, the Mike Hodgkinson directed video turned out quite nice, which again shows that one should never doubt the greatness of Rob Dickinson. Enjoy the former Catherine Wheel frontman, a pool and a mermaid, all shot on a cell phone.
