Antony To Appear With Brooklyn Philharmonic

NYC-area fans of Antony And The Johnsons are in for a treat! The 2005 Mercury Prize winner has scheduled a one-off show on March 9, 2007, with the Brooklyn Philharmonic. The performance is said to be a groundbreaking multimedia program, so combining that with the sounds of Antony backed by the Brooklyn Philharmonic should make for a very memorable evening of music.

Antony isn’t the only artist performing with the BP next year, as their site also lists an evening titled Four-Scored. Taking place on February 1, the night will feature Laurie Anderson, Suzanne Vega, Joan Osborne and Nellie McKay. The set contains newly-orchestrated songs to be performed along with tbe Brooklyn Philarmonic.
