Can’t wait for the release of Editors’ new album? Yeah, we are pretty psyched about it too, but until then at least we have some new remixes to keep us warm at night.
Available on iTunes, the Editors Remix EP will feature four tracks swiped from The Back Room and remixed by Sebastian, Ghislain Porier, P Nice and Prince Language. Additionally, bonus tracks that were not on the EP will premier on various websites (hint: you are reading one of them) starting next week. These remixes will be done by Shy Child, Pase Rock, Rubber Bullets, Trackademicks, Phones and Dr. Rock The Knobs. We can’t tell you who will be where, but since they are free you will have to do a little legwork to find them.
So obviously these remixes rule, but maybe you think you could do something different or dare we say better? FADER Label partnered with AcidPlanet for an awesome fan contest that will allow you to flex your remixing muscles. Basically you will have a shot at remixing “Bullets” for a chance to win a ton of Editors schwag and have your remix hosted on Editors’ official website. Check this link for the deets on it.
