Listen To The Good, The Bad And The Queen’s New Single

We are getting closer and closer to the release of Damon Albarn’s latest project, The Good, The Bad And The Queen. As we previously reported, the work of Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz), Paul Simonon (The Clash), Tony Allen (Africa 70, Fela Kuti) and Simon Tong (The Verve) will hit stores in the US on January 23.

For our friends who actually have access to watch Later With Jools Holland, the band will be performing on the program on Friday, December 8. The good news is that the BBC actually puts each week’s episode online, so if you happen to have a decent internet connection you’ll be in luck! You might want to bookmark the show’s website now so you don’t forget.

In other Good/Bad/Queen news, the band has announced the details of their second single, “Kingdom Of Doom.” It will be released in the UK on January 15th, but have been kind enough to post an audio stream of the song for us to check out now. As with “Herculean,” Paul Simonon has done the artwork for “Kingdom Of Doom” as well as for the album itself. You can see them both on the band’s official website.
