East Coast VS West Coast: The rivalry has been going on for some time now, and because San Francisco was host to the goodness of popscene for over 10 years, the West had a leg up on the East Coast kids. Well, all that is about to change on December 7 because NYC will finally get their own version of popscene, brought to you by the same dudes that started it all in California.
The debut NYC popscene will take place Thursday, December 7 from 11pm-3am at Club Midway (25 Ave B) and will follow every first and third Thursday each month starting in January. In the past they have had live performances from the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Editors along with DJ sets from Peter Hook, Mani from the Stone Roses and more, so it should be interesting to see what they have up their sleeves for 2007.
