Jon Auer Releases Album, Tours

Jon Auer, most notably known for forming The Posies as a teenager, will be pounding the pavement soon in support of his brand spankin’ new solo release. His new album, Songs From The Year Of Our Demise, hits stores on May 2 via Pattern 25 Records and was written about divorce. Sound bitter? According to Jon, the album took close to five years to complete. In that time he also continued on with The Posies and he, along with Ken Stringfellow and Alex Chilton, also moonlight as permanent members of the reformed Big Star. Now, it is finally your chance to catch some of the “new” stuff live. FYI: Some of the dates are still being finalized.
