Arab Strap Wants Their Money Back

What is the deal with bands getting stuff stolen from them? I know this is not a new concept, however this seems to be happening more and more as of late. Seriously, if I were to rob someone it wouldn’t be a band. Fuck, I’d go to a movie star’s house. Way more bang for the buck that way. OK, you can call off those police cars; I am not a thief.

Now it seems like Arab Strap has fallen victim again while in the USA. First they had trouble with tour mates Whisper In The Noise, and now Arab Strap has had $6,000 taken from them while in Philadelphia.

Drowned In Sound reported that the money went missing between the hours of 8pm and 10:25pm from a restaurant. Tour manager Teresa Murray said:”The band and I were at Nick’s Roast Beef Restaurant and I forgot my purse at the table and when I returned to the restaurant, all the money was gone.”

No arrests have been made yet, but as things develop we will keep you in the loop.
