Blood Brothers Begin Work On New Album

With the recent breakup of Test Icicles, we now turn back the Seatlle 5-piece Blood Brothers to fulfill our shredded-throat screaming needs. The band is back in action, with a new full-length album due out this Fall and an EP hitting stores on May 23rd. The band will begin work on the follow-up to 2004’s Crimes this month, but will give us the happily titled Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck EP to tide us over.

The seven-track EP will contain two UK b-sides, a few remixes and a live recording of the title track from their performance at the ‘05 Reading Festival. One interesting track I am actually curious to hear is their remix of Gang Of Four’s “Anthrax.” Peep the tracklisting:

Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck
01. “Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck”
02. “Ladies And Gentlemen”
03. “Metronomes”
04. “Crimes ” (alternative version)
05. “Peacock Skeleton With Crooked Fingers” (A Gun Called Tension remix)
06. “Anthrax” (Blood Brothers remix)
07. “Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck” (Live At Reading Festival ‘05)
