Charlatans UK Record Song For Carl Barat


The Charlatans UK have a soft spot for former Libertine Carl Barat. According to NME, the band has apparently recorded a song titled “Hard To Be You (Song For Carl),” which will be featured as a b-side on the group’s next single, “NYC (There’s No Need To Stop).” The single will hit stores in the UK on June 26, released on two CDs as well as 7″ vinyl. Other b-sides will include “Carry Your Heart” and “Bullet Of Freedom.”

Tim Burgess and Co. are still touring North America, performing in Chicago tonight at the Vic Theatre. Here are their remaining dates:
