Joseph Arthur Starts Up Label, Releases Nuclear Daydream

One of The Tripwire’s favorite artists, Joseph Arthur, has announced plans to release his next album on his own. The multitalented musician has opened shop to a new label that he will run called Lonely Astronaut Records; the first release being his own Nuclear Daydream.

The new LP is slated to come out September 19 and will host twelve songs in classic Joseph Arthur form. In a press release Joseph Arthur commented, “Starting a label is crazy, everyone tries to talk you out of it. Our plan is to put great records out often. There is a new sense of freedom blossoming out of this venture.” In our opinion, truer words have never been spoken.

As if Joseph wasn’t busy enough, he is also putting final touches on another album that will come out in 2007.

A 28-date tour will begin in Philadelphia on September 25.
