Among the many albums we are excited about in 2007 is Aqualung’s next effort, Memory Man. Frontman Matt Hales and his brother Ben started work in their own South London studio last May, resulting in their first new recordings in over three years. The brothers Hale kept a blog during their time in the studio, which you can find on the official Aqualung website.
Although the album won’t hit stores until March 13 via Columbia Records, you will get a chance to hear the new tunes live in person during their upcoming tour supporting Pete Yorn. The first single of the album, “Pressure Suit,” is also now streaming on Aqualung’s MySpace page.
