Swedish songstress El Perro Del Mar has been quietly making gentle waves across the music community with her fantastic self-titled sophomore album. A select few had an opportunity to catch her live when she made a quick stop in NYC last November, where we happened to sneak into her performance at Joe’s Pub.
As she continues to support the US release of her album on The Control Group, Sarah Assbring will return to North America for a handful of dates this March. She has also announced a new Scandinavian label deal, servering ties with Hybris and joining the Concretes’ Licking Fingers. The news was posted on her MySpace page, which mentions that a new album is coming up in the not-so-distant future.
