If you have ever wanted a sneak peek at Thom Yorke’s iPod playlist, here is your chance. The Radiohead frontman is the latest to submit a celebrity playlist to iTunes, and it comes as no surprise that some of his picks are a bit eclectic. His picks include selections from Stephen Malkmus, The Dears, Boxcutter and Spank Rock.
He gave a description of each tune, such as this for “Raid” by Madvillain & Medaphoar: “I’d play this on the radio to get your moving your ass in a traffic jam 1st thing in the morning… if I was a dj, which I’m not.” Just envisioning Yorke as a part of the Weenie & The Butt radio sketch from Family Guy made me laugh a bit. Now who wouldn’t love to see Yorke belt out “you’ve been buttslammed!” Priceless.
