After his tour with Juana Molina last year, it is great to see the indie-folk artist Adem returning back to the US for another round of dates. He is flying in for three NYC area performances this week, including one night at Carnegie Hall. This particular event is happening tomorrow night and is being curated by David Burn, featuring musicians Vashti Bunyan, Vetiver, Cibelle, Devendra Banhart, CocoRosie and Adem.
Adem will then return back to North America in March supporting Badly Drawn Boy. It just so happens that it was at BDB’s NYC Town Hall performance a couple of years ago where I was first introduced to the music of Adem. His shows are always simply brilliant, so make a point to catch him if he happens to be coming to your town. I hope his harmonium survives the trip across the big pond this time!
