Ours Returns With New Album And Brief Tour

Do you happen to remember Ours? The band is fronted by Jimmy Gnecco, a man who has an uncanny vocal resemblance to Jeff Buckley… so much in fact that it is almost a bit creepy. Ours released two great albums a few years back, Distorted Lullabies (2001) and Precious (2002). Although it has taken five years to complete their third record, it is finally finished and hopefully being released at some point in the not so distant future.

Gnecco made the announcement on the band’s official site, where he said: “A few years and many tears later I’m happy to announce the upcoming release of our third record… Dancing for the Death of an Imaginary Enemy. We are very excited, and ready to let it go into the world. Static, Locke, Race, Pit, and myself kick off our first show in New Jersey on February 3rd. Thank you for your support, patience, and understanding in our process. We’ll see you soon.”
