Mick Jones + Tony James = Carbon/Silicon

If you are curious as to why you might want to download a few tracks from Carbon/Silicon, perhaps you might want to do a little research on who the duo actually is. This is the project of two legendary rock icons – Mick Jones (The Clash, Big Audio Dynamite) and Tony James (Generation X, Sigue Sigue Sputnik).

As of early January, Jones and James were working in the studio, recording new releases for 2007. The guys have a ton of MP3s available for download on their site, all from their time in the studio throughout 2006. I’ve been downloading tracks all day, and I have to agree with Alan Mcgee’s description of Carbon Silicon, as they sound like “The Stones jamming with a laptop.” Get your download on via the link below!
