Massive Attack Works With Damon Albarn, Hope Sandoval

It is quite exciting to see Massive Attack bringing on some serious talent to collaborate with them on their next album. They have been working in the studio on the follow-up to their 2003 release, 100th Window. For starters, it looks like Damon Albarn will appear on at least one track, if not more. Between The Good, The Bad And The Queen, Gorillaz, his Honest Jon’s record label and possibly Blur, it seems that good ol’ Damon is quite the workaholic.

According to NME, other notable guests helping out in the studio include TV On The Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe and ex-Mazzy Star Hope Sandoval. Horace Andy and Liz Fraser will be on the album as well. No other information is available yet, but we are just glad to see that these triphop pioneers are still making new music. Hopefully they will get the album wrapped up and ready for release this year. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
