We are thrilled to announce that JELLYNYC’s Pool Parties will be taking place again this year at Brooklyn’s McCarren Park Pool. This year there are producing a total of nine free Sunday concerts, beginning on June 24. Free concerts in the NYC area are hard to come by, which made their Pool Parties in 2006 such a great way to spend a summer Sunday. They’ll have great music, a slip’n’slide, dodgeball, all taking place in one unique location.
The Tripwire crew had a blast last year, bringing Bon Savants, Jason Lytle and Pretty Girls Make Graves to the pool. The JELLY peeps are obviously not ready to announce bands as of yet, but it is definitely worth noting that they are returning. We were a bit unsure if the Pool Parties would be coming back to the McCarren Park Pool, but it seems that they are a go for 2007. Go ahead and pencil in these dates:
