The Fratellis, one of the bigger bands of the day, quietly took the stage with only their acoustic guitars right on time. This was quite a surprise coming after the huge beats that Bonde Do Role laid out for the masses. Speaking of the masses, they are quickly gathering under the blazing Texas sun at the Levi’s/FADER Fort.
The obvious highlight of the set was “Flathead,” the jam that so many of us became familiar with from being on the new iPod commercial. The girls in the audience got their dance on during this one, and even though it was only acoustic, it still packed a powerful punch.
