Each season when American Idol starts up, we always try to resist its powers and boldy claim that we won’t watch it. Each year we fail. Yes, once again, your friends at The Tripwire have gotten sucked in to the absurdity that is Idol. We’re not sure if it is our strange fascination with Paula’s insanity, Simon’s douchebagginess, counting the times Randy drops the “yo factor,” or the actual contestants, but we have been glued to our TV sets from the beginning.
For our readers that have been following this season’s cast of wannabe singers, we’re curious to see who YOU think should be voted off next. Although Blake “Mr. Beatbox” Lewis has been grating on our nerves as of late, we have no problem in saying that Sanjaya Malakar has GOT to go. Why in the hell is he still on there? C’mon America, even Phil Stacey’s crazy eyebrows are more entertaining than Sanjaya. Keeping him on was funny for a bit, but that joke has run its course.
