Ashlee Simpson + Robert Smith = WTF?




In news that makes you go “huh?,” EW is reporting that The Cure frontman Robert Smith has signed up to work with Ashlee Simpson on her new album. The best part is that Fall Out Boy has denied any involvement, despite that making more since. In the article FOB’s Pete Wentz commented, “I doubt I had anything to do with it, ’cause they were friends since she was performing in Chicago. But I definitely only have good things to say about Ash – I think the collaboration could be great.”

As of now, other confirmed collaborators include Keane’s Tim Rice-Oxley, The Neptunes’ Chad Hugo and John Legend. First Korn and now Ashlee Simpson for Cure collaborations? It must be official that the makeup and hairspray all over Robert Smith’s head has officially sunken into his pores blocking his better judgement.
