We’ve been fans of Brooklyn’s Au Revoir Simone since we first got their Verses Of Comfort, Assurance & Salvation EP last year. After gaining other fans such as KCRW, they went to work on their LP. The trio’s newest effort, The Bird Of Music, comes out May 15 via Our Secret Record Company. In honor of the release the girls will be heading out on a pretty extensive tour from April 30 to June 15 with Peter, Bjorn & John as well as Voxtrot. Both of these groups are a perfect fit for the tour, and who wouldn’t like a band that was named after a line from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure?
