One of my favorite albums from ‘06 was Sing The Deathcapades by The Cobbs. We ran a review of the album, posted a free MP3 download of “Say You Never Knew Me” and even featured a track on the Tripwire Podcast 021. This Philly-based group’s psych meets garage rock fits right along with bands like the Brian Jonestown Massacre and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
That being said, The Cobbs are hitting the road with BRMC this June on a string of east coast dates. They couldn’t have found a better match! The Horrors are also on the bill, which makes for one mighty awesome lineup. The dates are listed below, and it should be noted that the NYC Tripwire crew is definitely bummed that they won’t be stopping by the Big Apple.
