Two Gallants Ready Acoustic EP

You have to tip your cap when it comes to the work ethic of Two Gallants. Last year the duo played nearly two hundred shows, which makes us wonder how in the hell they found the time to work on new material. With such a crazy tour schedule, the band had to squeeze in rehearsals as radio appearances and at soundchecks. Fortunately, this gave them enough time to prepare the songs that will appear on their forthcoming EP and LP releases.

Two Gallants hit the studio this January in San Francisco, where they put together a five-song acoustic EP titled The Scenery Of Farewell. The tracks were produced by Alex Newport (At The Drive In, Polysics), utilizing fellow San Fran-based musicians to help out on cello, double bass and violin. The EP will hit stores in North America on June 19 via Saddle Creek, followed by their third full-length album tentatively scheduled for September.
