With summer rapidly approaching all eyes are fixating on the upcoming Austin City Limits Festival. This year ACL will take place September 14-16, 2007 at Zilker Park in Austin. While the full lineup has yet to be announced, The Austin Chronicle has shed some light on the early list.
Charles Attal, the production company, put together a scavenger hunt style crossword puzzle to break the news. The puzzle revealed The White Stripes, Bjork, The Decemberists, Peter, Bjorn and John, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Robert Earl Keen, Joss Stone, Andrew Bird, Rose Hill Drive, Gotan Project, Indigo Girls, Heartless Bastards, Augustana, Beau Soleil and Andy Palacio.
Other earlier announced bands include Kings Of Leon, Raul Malo, Stephen Marley, Ben Kweller, Rev. Horton Heat, Asleep At The Wheel, The Little Ones, Charlie Musselwhite, The Jellydots and Sara Hickman.
