Manic Street Preachers Return With Send Away The Tigers

It has been three years since we last heard from the Manic Street Preachers… and they’re back! The new album, Send Away The Tigers, was recorded in early 2006 with long time Manic producer Dave Eringa at Stir Studios in Cardiff and Grouse Lodge in Ireland. From early reports, it sounds like the band has returned to their rock roots, marking a return to their earlier albums.

The first single off the album, “Your Love Alone Is Not Enough,” features a duet with Nina Persson of The Cardigans. The album will see a release in the US via Red Ink on July 24. The track listing is posted below. You can catch a sneak preview of four of the tracks on their MySpace page.
