St. Vincent Hits The Road Next Month

A couple of months ago we introduced you to St. Vincent, the musical project of Dallas’ Annie Clark. Her previous gigs included time in the choir for the Polyphonic Spree as well as performing in Sufjan Stevens’ touring band. Now out on her own, she is preparing to release her debut album, Marry Me, on July 10 via Beggars.

To help celebrate the new album, Clark is embarking on a tour that will hit both coasts throughout July and early August. This time she is bringing along a full backing band, so we’re quite excited to see her next month. We think she’s mighty awesome, so if you happened to miss out on the free MP3 download of her song “Now Now,” click here.
