Preview New Tunes From The Strange Boys + Tour

One hidden gem in the indie music world is Austin’s The Strange Boys. We tipped you off to these mod rockers last August, when we reviewed their States Newest Noise Makers EP. These young musicians play the ’60s garage band part from top to bottom, looking as if they just walked off the set of an Andy Warhol film and sounding like they regularly party with the Kinks and the Velvet Underground.

We were happy to discover that these Texans have been working on a new record, and posted some fresh tunes on their MySpace page. If you have yet to check out this great up-and-coming band, make sure you give these new songs a listen. They’re mighty rad.
