One of the best bands to emerge out of the North Texas area in some time, Denton’s Midlake still ranks as one of our personal favorites. Their most recent album, The Trial Of Van Occupanther, is still in current rotation over here. That being said, we are quite happy to see that the band is embarking on yet another tour, including a Fourth Of July performance in NYC at Battery Park with The New Pornographers.
