Paul Weller Plans Double Release

Paul Weller, who recently teamed up with Graham Coxon for a singles release, confirmed that he intends to put out a double album next year.

Speaking with BBC6, Weller said, “Ideally I’d like to put a double album out next year, before I get to fifty. That’s my little gameplan. Just to make music. Making my first record was an achievement. Still making records after all these years is an achievement for me. I never expected to still be making music at my age. Every day’s an achievement.”

It’s hard for us to fathom that the singer is nearly 50 years old. Can you think of another person his age that can pass off one of these? Yeah, we didn’t think so.
