PJ Harvey To Offer Up White Chalk

It has been three years since we last heard from one of the most powerful voices in rock, PJ Harvey. The follow-up to her 2004 album, Uh Huh Her, now has a UK release date. Fans overseas will be able to pick up White Chalk, her eighth studio album, on September 24.

Harvey, along with John Parish and Flood, produced the new tunes. Eric Drew Feldman and Jim White (Dirty Three) contributed to the album as well. Her official site is hinting that she will debut some of her new material at an upcoming sold-out show in Manchester.

Hopefully US release information and the track listing will be announced soon.
