iTunes Festival Begins In London

Those folks at Apple just continue to crank out mighty cool stuff. While much of the planet is still going gaga over the iPhone, as am I, but it is nicely over my budget, folks in London are getting to experience the iTunes Festival. Yes, they now have their very own music festival in the UK.

What sets this one apart from the other eight zillion summer festivals overseas is that it takes place in a much more intimate setting, spread over the entire month of July. Each night, artists such as Amy Winehouse, Kasabian, Stereophonics and Travis will perform in front of small audiences of only 350 people at London’s Institute For Contemporary Arts. They are also giving away some tickets for free, so if you happen to live in the UK, or have the means to get there, hit up their official website.
