We’ve been seeing early Best Of ‘07 lists already starting to pop up as the year crossed the half-way point. One LP that we fully expect to see on these lists as the year continues on is the debut album from Sea Wolf, Leaves In The River. This is the project of Alex Brown Church, who you may already be familiar with from his days in the great Los Angeles group Irving.
His EP, Get To The River Before It Runs Too Low, was a great sample of things to come from Sea Wolf. Dangerbird Records, the home of Tripwire favorites Silversun Pickups and Dappled Cities, will be releasing the full-length album on September 25. Fans will get to hear the new tunes throughout July and August, with a much more extensive tour coming this fall.
