We have gone bananas over Maps. Last December we were introduced to the bedroom beats and sonic awesomeness of James Chapman, the London native who essentially is Maps. His Start Something EP got a ridiculous amount of spins at Tripwire HQ. This past June he released his stellar long player, We Can Create, via Mute Records. Of course, we loved it.

Maps will be performing a handful of US dates in September, hitting up Seattle, San Fran, Los Angeles, NYC and Brooklyn. Champan will be joined on stage by Philip Thurlby (keys, backing vocals, percussion), Matthew Roberts (keys, guitar, backing vocals), Benjamin Gordelier (drums) and Andrew Lowther (bass) during this tour.
