We received a pleasant surprise in our inbox today, containing news that the one and only Supergrass are wrapping up work on their follow-up to Road To Rouen. The album is being produced by Nick Launay, who has worked with Nick Cave, Public Image Ltd., Gang Of Four, Talking Heads, Kate Bush, the list goes on and on.
The as yet untitled new album was recorded in Berlin over four weeks in Hansa Studios. The lads are putting some final touches on the songs in the UK, so hopefully we’ll be hearing new tunes from Supergrass very soon. The band is also working on relaunching their website, which will include a live version of one of their new tunes as a free download. We’ll be checking their site daily until the relaunch!
