The wait for new material from Cat Power is almost over. The follow-up for her ‘06 album, The Greatest, will be her second long player of cover songs. You might remember her first covers album, simply titled The Covers Record, which came out in 2000. Cat Power offered up info on Covers Record 2 on her MySpace page this past Friday, where she said:
