My Bloody Valentine To Play Coachella???

Now this could be interesting. Rumors are now swirling around a possible reunion tour for the shoegaze maestros My Bloody Valentine. Could it be? What we have now is nothing concrete, stemming from Brooklyn Vegan, who found the info on The Daily Swarm, but apparently people who know people who are familiar with Coachella negotiations have said that this is close to happening.

It has been more than a decade since our eardrums were washed in the tremolo blast of sonic bliss of My Bloody Valentine live on stage, so we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed. With a world tour to follow, this could be mighty interesting.

Now that we’re in the mood for a little MBV, here is their video for “Only Shallow.”
