White Stripes US Tour Is Off

Well this is a bummer. After getting pretty amped up to see White Stripes to perform at this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival, that excitement has been crushed by news that the duo has canceled their entire US tour. All eighteen dates on the jaunt have been called off, with no word the possibilities of any shows being rescheduled.

The official announcement from their website states that the tour was canceled due to health reasons. Specifically, Meg is suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel. They added, “We hate to let people down and are very sorry.”
