Thrill Jockey Signs School Of Language

We were saddened when we got word that Field Music was going on hiatus last April. Not one to stop his creative juices from flowing, band member David Brewis continued on under the moniker School of Language. He already has three songs that you can preview on his MySpace page, and we like what we hear.

Unless you live in the UK it will be a while before we get to see the project in person, but the good news is that Thrill Jockey just signed him to release his album (working title is Ships) in North America. Click here to get a sample of the pre-mastered version of “Rockist Part 1.”
