The Octopus Project Release New Album, Tour

One of the best shows that we attended at last year’s SXSW came from Austin’s Octopus Project. While the band does seem to have a cult following, there are still tons of people out there that are still in the dark when it comes to them. If you are one of those people then listen up, as you will finally get your chance to see them live, that is if you happen live in one of the few cities that they are going to play in February.

If you are familiar with The Octopus Project, then the good news is that the band is going to hit the studio next month in order to record their next LP in Seattle. Working with them will be producer Ryan Hadlock (The Gossip, Stephen Malkmus, Blonde Redhead). After three weeks of recording, the band will return to Austin to perform tunes from their current collaborative album, The House Of Apples & Eyeballs with Pittsburg’s Black Moth Super Rainbow. If you want to check out the collaboration, the band has the album streaming. Just click the link below.
