2007 Shockwaves NME Awards Nominees

The Brits sure love their music awards ceremonies! The latest to announce nominees comes from everybody’s favourite hype machine, NME. Once again, they have tossed in unnecessary categories such as sexiest man & woman, best/worst dressed, worst album and worst band. Hell, even a few artists managed to be nominated for both best and worst artist or best and worst album. Somehow Lily Allen landed in the categories of best new artist, sexiest woman, worst dressed and worst album. Sounds like they are a bit confused across the pond. Don’t worry Lily, we’ve got your back!

The winners will be announced on March 1 at London’s Hammersmith Palais. Here is the list of categories and nominees… prepare to be baffled.

Win Tickets To See FELA! On Broadway

We’re not sure Fela Kuti’s epic story should be told in any other format besides the musical, and we don’t even like musicals!  That said, it just so happens we’re giving away two tickets to see the show for zero dollars. All you need to do is leave us a haiku in the comments before [...]
