The Hourly Radio Enters The Studio

Our buddies in the Dallas band The Hourly Radio have officially started work on the follow-up to their previous album, History Will Never Hold Me. They entered the studio yesterday, and have given fans an update via their MySpace blog, on which they said:

“Today was the first day of working with producer Stuart Sikes. We’ve been wanting to work with Stuart for sometime now and we’re excited to finally get the opportunity. I’m sure many of you are familiar with some his work: Cat Power, The Walkmen, Modest Mouse, White Stripes, etc and given that roster it’s safe to say we were a tad bit nervous heading in, but after our first 12hr day the nerves are out and it looks like things are going to go really well.”

We’re glad to hear that they’re off to a good start. As more information pops up on the progress of The Hourly Radio’s new tunes, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
