Live – Biffy Clyro @ The FADER Sideshow

After running into a few friends and chatting up all the bands that we were looking forward to, one name kept popping up, Biffy Clyro. The guys’ music is a cross between Foo Fighters and Muse; something one of our co-workers likes to call “Fuse.” While we were saddened that the rock opera-esque “Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies” was shorted to fit in the abbreviated set, we were beyond giddy to see the almost choreographed head twitch moves that front man Simon Neil did during the song. While the live set was more metal than the recorded album, we still were amazed that we were witnessing the guys in action in such a small venue. Well, that and you got to respect a dude with a tattoo of a gun on his hip where a holster would sit.
