Listening to Imperial Teen always reminds me of my college radio days. I remember playing the shit out of “Yoo Hoo” off their What Is Not To Love album during my air shifts. Now, eight years later, the guys (and girls) are back on my radar with their newest record, The Hair The TV The Baby & The Band. The group took the stage yesterday afternoon at the FADER Sideshow and blessed the crowd with their pure pop sensibilities, never missing a beat. Closing the set with the single worthy “Shim Sham,” the group showed they still have what it takes even after all these years.
