While trolling our regular batch of sites this morning, I stumbled upon some bad news from Underworld. Gigwise tipped fans off to a recent posting on the band’s official site and MySpace pages, where they announced that the European leg of their tour has been postponed. Here is the direct post from their site:
It is with great regret that we have had to pull-out of the European leg of the current Underworld tour due to severe illness in the band. More details will follow, but in the meantime, we appreciate your patience and understanding.
We’re not sure if it is Rick Smith, Karl Hyde, or possibly both, but we wish them a speedy recovery. Get well soon!
