Arcade Fire’s Online Madness

Earlier this month, Radiohead sent fans into a frenzy via weird encoded messages that left us scratching our heads. The Canadian indie pop orchestra Arcade Fire must have liked that idea, and have posted an odd hint on their Neon Bible website. On the homepage, there is now an image of a closed eye, which then opens when scrolled over, displaying the text “Be oNline B October 6th. Clicking the text takes you to the URL beonlineb.com, which now only has a static image of closed eyes, along with “October 6th” repeated eleven times. On the top of the browser window, text also reads “Arcade Fire presents…”

You can bet your sweet ass we’ll be back on their site this Saturday to see what all the fuss is about.
